Screw iris aperture into front sight body as far as it will go. No special positioning of the iris is necessary. Fix the counter screw with hook key. The iris aperture is now screwed tightly but it can be turned around the own axis. The graduation at the housing may be used for orientation.
You can now adjust the cross hair or lateral hair to the canting by simply turning the ring. Mark the required position at the front sight. If you change position you simply turn the iris according to this mark. With a small tool the vario iris aperture can be changed from cross hair to lateral hair like art. 9740.
