What is the catch? It is simple. I want you to write the text and maybe take a couple of pictures! I will guide you through the process by asking questions but the words will be your own.
I am a range owner and an officer of several other ranges. I am a fairly good programmer and know how to get free publicity but I am not a writer. I have arranged for someone else to pay the bills for the server, set up the banner ads and search engine listings. I have 18,000+ readers a year. I need you to help me provide the information on places to shoot. The more information, the better my rankings in the search engines and the more new shooters I get at my range and you get more at yours.
By working together we can build the worlds largest collection of information on the shooting sports and get top billing in the search engines. This would mean that if someone in your area used the internet to find a place to shoot they would probably see your club's information.
My directory of places to shoot is divided into 3 sections. First is the "US Rifle & Pistol Clubs" which is sorted by state. Second is the "Internationial" section which is sorted by Country. Third is "Shotgun Clubs" My local clubs are not listed first, they are listed by State just like all the others.
This site is dedicated to Target Shooting. I hope that it either, helps you find a place to shoot, or bring new members into your club.
All types of target shooting are supported, I.H.M.S.A. , NRA, USPSA, IDPA, DCM, Benchrest, even the time honored sport of can plinking. If it involves shooting competition that is open to new members it can be submitted here. We do not accept militia sites.
I will post upcoming events that I know about but the best source of information is the Match Director or other club members that take the time to list their matches. If you shoot at a range or club that is not listed please take a few minutes to submit the information. You may
