Location & directions to range: Roxboro, NC. From 501 in Roxboro,
take 158 w 5 miles to Red Fox Lane and turn right. Follow gravel road.
Date of competition: September 16, 2000-Hunter Pistol
September
17, 2000-Smallbore Hunter Pistol
Range opens on September 15, 2000, at 1:00pm for zero and
practice. Range
opens at 8:00am for practice on both September 16, and 17, 2000. Fire for
score starts at 9:00am.
Entry Fee: $25.00 for first gun, $20.00 for each additional gun. (1 gun
$25, 2 guns $45, 3 guns $65...) Entry includes; NRA receives $4.00, NCRPA
receives $2.50 per gun. Also includes a meal Saturday night, and door prizes.
Advance entries: Highly recomend to register by August 25, 2000, but is not
required.
Awards: NCRPA supplies one Hunter Pistol state championship award, and one
Smallbore Hunter Pistol championship award. (NC residents only) Hyco
Shooting Club supplies state championship open sight Hunter Pistol and open
sight Smallbore Hunter Pistol awards. Also supplies open (out of state)
match winner for Hunter Pistol and Smallbore Hunter Pistol.
High lady, high senior, and high junior. Class winners1st, 2nd(with 4
entries), 3rd(with 6 entries).
Rules: All NRA Hunter Pistol rules apply
Match Course: Two 40 round matches for a 80 round aggregate.
Targets: Approved NRA Silhouette targets.
Classifications: NRA Classification (Will shoot in highest available
classification).
Requirements: NRA membership and current classification book.
