On October 2nd & 3rd the Hyco Shooting Club hosted the North Carolina State Hunters Pistol and Smallbore Hunters Pistol Silhouette Championships. It was a beautiful weekend with the temperatures about 78 degrees with no wind. After the Hunters Pistol Match on Saturday, we had a Bar-B-Q supper with all the trimmings and then we sat around a gas heater talking about all the latest in the shooting world.

    The match consisted of two 40 round matches for an aggregate of 80 shots for each championship. We had a total of 57 entries for both days. The winners were:
