NEW FIELD TARGET CLUB

These are Field Target matches . The Air gunners club is forming at this time. Please E-mail me for dates and times .New comers to this sport are welcome to attend. The matches are informal at this time. Even if you do not have an Air rifle. We may have a loaner gun available at the match. Come and give it a try .
For a fast run down on what it is like. It is based on small game hunting and similar to 3-D archery. You take an Air rifle that will shoot around 800 fps. with a scope on it.You walk up to a shooting point and you will have three targets at unknown distances. So you must estimate or use your scope to try and range find. To each target. Range will vary in between each target 10 out to 50 yards .Then in order to score a hit you must hit a kill zone on each target and they will be 1/2in to 2 in on target. The targets are mechanical and will fall if the kill zone is hit. And, by the way you have 5 minutes to shoot six shoots at three different distances two shots each target per lane. This makes for one good time.
